As the Lead Apigee Hybrid Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical architecture leadership and guidance in the design, implementation, and support of the platform. Your expertise in API management will be essential in determining the best solution for clients and ensuring a smooth and efficient migration. You will oversee day-to-day operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the platform, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical architecture leadership and guidance in the design, implementation, and support of the platform.
  • Manage and configure API Gateway for optimal performance and security.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of APIs.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for API design, security, and performance.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making process regarding API management solutions.
  • Lead the evaluation and migration from Apigee on-prem to Apigee Hybrid.
  • Mentor and train team members on Apigee best practices and tools.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience working with Apigee or similar API management software in mission-critical support engagements.
  • Strong understanding of API management concepts and best practices.
  • UNIX/Linux commands knowledge.
  • Cassandra or similar DB experience.
  • Experience with Apigee administration, configuration, and development.
  • Familiarity with Apigee Hybrid and its deployment architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What We Offer:
Competitive estimated salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience. If you're passionate about leading innovative projects and driving business growth, we encourage you to apply.
