Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Apigee Architect to join our team. As an Apigee Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing API solutions using the Apigee platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • API Architecture Design: Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance API architectures using the Apigee platform to meet business needs and technical requirements.
  • API Development: Lead the development and implementation of APIs leveraging Apigee Edge platform, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and security protocols.
  • Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with various backend systems, databases, and third-party services.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance API performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Security: Ensure the security of APIs by implementing robust authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms, adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring and Analytics: Set up monitoring and analytics solutions to track API usage, performance metrics, and health status, and utilize insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including API specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on Apigee best practices, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Apigee Experience: Proven experience as an Apigee Architect or similar role, with a strong background in API design and development.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
