At SID Global Solutions, we're looking for a skilled Digital API Solutions Architect to join our team. As an Apigee expert, you'll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing API solutions using the Apigee platform.

Position Overview

We're seeking a talented individual with in-depth knowledge of the Apigee Edge platform, including API proxy configuration, policies, and analytics. The successful candidate will have a strong background in API design and development, as well as experience with API security standards and protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They should be proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python and have experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Key Responsibilities
  • API Architecture Design: Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance API architectures using the Apigee platform to meet business needs and technical requirements.
  • API Development: Lead the development and implementation of APIs leveraging Apigee Edge platform, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and security protocols.
  • Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with various backend systems, databases, and third-party services.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance API performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Security: Ensure the security of APIs by implementing robust authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms, adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution. You'll also need to be an effective communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

As a seasoned professional, you'll have a deep understanding of microservices architecture principles and design patterns, and you'll be familiar with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with DevOps tools and agile methodologies is also desirable.

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
