Job Description: Digital Solutions ArchitectPosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced Digital Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and optimizing API solutions using the Apigee platform.
Your primary responsibilities will include creating robust, scalable, and secure API architectures that meet business requirements and align with our technology strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with various backend systems, databases, and third-party services.
Key Responsibilities:- Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance API architectures using the Apigee platform to meet business needs and technical requirements.
- Lead the development and implementation of APIs leveraging Apigee Edge platform, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with various backend systems, databases, and third-party services.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance API performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Evaluate and recommend the implementation of authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms to ensure API security.
- Set up monitoring and analytics solutions to track API usage, performance metrics, and health status.
- Create comprehensive documentation including API specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on Apigee best practices, tools, and methodologies.
To be successful as a Digital Solutions Architect at SID Global Solutions, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Apigee Architect or similar role, with a strong background in API design and development.
- In-depth knowledge of the Apigee Edge platform, including API proxy configuration, policies, and analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with API security standards and protocols (OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
