Project Coordinator Job Description

The role of a Project Coordinator is to facilitate the implementation of projects by ensuring that all aspects are well coordinated. This includes working with local partners, building partnerships with government stakeholders, conducting consultation workshops, managing project finances, leading monitoring and reporting, and developing programmes in select areas.

  • Coordinate with local NGO partners to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders.
  • Organize and conduct city-level consultation workshops.
  • Manage project finances and track budget expenditure.
  • Lead the team in monitoring and reporting on project progress.
  • Develop and implement programmes in select areas.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 8–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge in climate, resilience, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, budgeting, and report writing.
  • Graduate/Master's degree preferred.
  • Background in gender & women's leadership desirable.
