At the intersection of science and technology lies a world of possibilities. As a life sciences informatics consultant, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of data and AI to drive innovation and decision-making in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Your mission:

You will be responsible for translating complex scientific and operational needs into actionable solutions that bridge business, IT, and scientific domains.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Solution Design: Develop innovative, AI-enabled solutions that address clients' R&D initiatives and drive strategic impact.
  • New Business Development: Expand the footprint of science, data, AI, and technology solutions and services within existing and new clients, working closely with sales teams.
  • Pitch Presentations: Create compelling pitch presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition of Excelra's solutions.
  • Proposal Preparation: Lead the preparation of proposals, project estimations, and responses to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring alignment between client requirements and capabilities.
  • Project Execution: Ensure smooth transition from presales to project execution by operations teams, developing statements of work (SOWs) as needed.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Degree: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field, with a proven track record of consulting in biopharma services organizations.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in bioinformatics services, presales, or customer-facing roles in Life Sciences or Biotech, with strong background in bioinformatics tools, OMICs data, and applications of AI/ML in life sciences.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of biotech and pharmaceutical data, workflows, and informatics systems across drug discovery, translational, clinical, and real-world data, with ability to articulate strategic and operational impact of data and AI-driven solutions.
