We are seeking a highly skilled Beverage Innovator to lead our Research and Development team. As the Head of R&D, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and launching new beverage products that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or PhD in Food Technology, Food Science, or Nutrition, with a proven track record of developing and launching successful beverage products. They will also possess expertise in food chemistry, sensory science, nutrition, and functional ingredients, as well as strong knowledge of regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation roadmap for beverages, aligned with our brand vision.
    • Build and lead a high-performing R&D function, comprising scientists, food technologists, and lab partners.
    • Stay ahead of global beverage trends, functional ingredients, and health sciences.
  • Product Development & Formulation
    • Formulate and optimize beverages for nutrition, flavor, cost, and shelf-life.
    • Innovate with functional ingredients (proteins, adaptogens, botanicals, natural sweeteners, probiotics, etc.).
    • Conduct pilot trials, sensory studies, and consumer testing before scaling up production.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • E nsure compliance with FSSAI regulations for all products and validate nutrition/health claims.
    • Manage food safety testing, certifications, and quality standards.
  • Scale-up & Manufacturing
    • Partner with manufacturing units and co-packers to scale formulations.
    • Solve for stability, packaging, and supply chain compatibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Marketing to develop compelling product positioning and storytelling.
    • Collaborate with Operations/Finance on cost optimization and sourcing.
    • Present innovation updates to stakeholders.
