About this role:

As a junior chef, you will work under the supervision of senior chefs like the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to develop essential kitchen skills and learn how to execute meals efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior chefs in meal preparation and presentation
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Receive and organize food deliveries, rotating stock and discarding expired items
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, seasoning, and plating dishes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Culinary knowledge and basic knife skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Teamwork and communication abilities
  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours
