International Collections Professional

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and driven International Collections Professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in international collections, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of international accounts, proactively reaching out to debtors across various time zones to resolve outstanding payments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Negotiate effective payment plans and settlements while adhering to company policies, legal guidelines, and relevant international collection regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and meticulously detailed records of all communication, debtor interactions, and collection activities within our advanced CRM system.
  • Collaborate seamlessly and effectively with internal teams, including client services and legal departments, to escalate complex cases and ensure swift, satisfactory resolution.
  • Identify and analyze potential challenges within the collection process, proactively proposing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance overall efficiency and maximize recovery rates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire collection lifecycle, fostering positive debtor relationships even while ensuring financial objectives are consistently met.
Requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills are paramount for this role, encompassing both written and verbal proficiency. You'll need to articulate clearly and professionally with a diverse international clientele, adapting your approach as needed.
  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as an International Collections Executive is required, demonstrating a solid understanding of cross-border collection practices and nuances.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, coupled with a resilient approach to challenging conversations.
  • A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Familiarity with various international payment methods and financial instruments is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using collections software and CRM systems is highly beneficial.
