Performance Test Engineer Job Description

About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team.

  • This is an opportunity to work with modern technologies and contribute to the success of our clients.
  • You will be responsible for creating load generation scripts, applying customization as required, setting up monitoring counters, and capturing results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create load generation scripts using tools like JMeter.
  • Apply customization in scripts as required.
  • Setup monitoring counters and capture results.
  • Generate performance test reports from collected data.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5.5 years of experience in Performance testing with good hands-on knowledge of scripting using tool JMeter.
  • Well versed with Performance Testing concepts, terminologies, and ready to deploy on Assignments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring servers and setting up monitoring counters using tools like Perfmon, Azure Insights, Cloud Watch etc.
  • Experience with tools like Fiddler, Chrome Developer toolbar, and ability to analyze application traffic.
  • PREFERRED: coding skills in Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting.
