Job Description

Role:

As a seasoned cloud expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) and prototyping of cloud solutions to identify the best fit for clients' needs.
  • Develop Integration Design and Security Design for web services and enterprise component development to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Work on networking and security topics as an AWS cloud administrator, focusing on secure and efficient infrastructure deployment.
  • Manage storage management like AWS-Storage and work extensively on AWS-EKS.
  • Create and manage Docker images to optimize application deployment and scaling.
  • Perform cloud cost analysis, estimations, and apply best practices to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage Kubernetes system services and worker nodes to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Collaborate with database administration teams and DBMS experts to design and implement robust database solutions.
  • Create documentation and design documents to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
  • Provide estimates for project requirements and engage with senior architecture groups to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Work with internal technology teams to contribute to company-wide initiatives and drive innovation.
  • Apply knowledge of Kubernetes API and client libraries to optimize solution performance.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code concepts to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience with hands-on coding skills and ability to program independently.
  • AWS Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
  • Strong Linux/UNIX experience and familiarity with scripting languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and other DevOps tools.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud platforms across various services, including load balancing, auto-scaling, and Route 53.
  • Knowledge of Network Access Control List, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS CloudTrail.
  • Ability to design highly available and fault-tolerant architectures.
  • Experience with open-source technologies and tools, including Docker, HELM, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of optimized coding for memory consumption, performance, scalability, security, caching, etc.
