System Integration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced System Integration Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure and deploy real-time data acquisition, visualization and reporting solutions.
  • Architect seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain secure efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize and support existing SCADA/MES deployments for minimal downtime.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in SCADA/MES engineering within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation and scripting module configuration.
  • Strong background in MES functions including production tracking, OEE and downtime analysis.
  • Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies.
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity.
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication.
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems including PLC, SCADA and HMIs.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards such as ISA95, ISA88 and IEC 62443.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms such as Azure IoT and AWS IoT.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization for SCADA/MES deployments.
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Certifications such as Ignition Gold Certified Specialist or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications.
