Key Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aquaculture Operations Manager to lead our farm program and oversee the day-to-day operations of our aquaculture project.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation of our protocols and experiments, supervising Program Associates, and conducting audits to ensure adherence to our standards.

\

Main Responsibilities:

  • People Management: Manage a team of Program Associates.\
  • Project Management: Supervise the implementation of our aquaculture protocols and experiments.\
  • Data Review: Ensure timely and accurate data entry by Program Associates.\
  • Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to our protocols.\
  • Farmer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with our aquaculture farmers.\
  • Farm Information Maintenance: Obtain and update farm information in a timely manner.\
  • Field Presence: Spend significant time in the field engaging with our staff, farmers, and other stakeholders.\
  • Scaling and Strategic Assistance: Lead the process of enrolling new farms in our aquaculture project.\
  • Ground-truthing: Provide field input during strategic meetings with our leadership.\\/ul">

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring a high level of expertise in aquaculture operations management.

Requirements:

  • Nationality: Eligibility to work in India.\
  • Experience: 1 year of experience managing field programs in aquaculture or a related field.\
  • Language: Fluent in oral and written English.\
  • Location: Full-time presence in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh required.\
  • Transportation: Ability to drive a motorbike or scooter on rural roads.\\/ul">
