Job Title: Systems Integration Advisor

This role involves working with applications on production lines, providing technical support and troubleshooting issues.

  • Maintain control over applications and provide 2nd and 3rd level support for critical and non-critical automotive production applications.
  • Perform root cause analysis, source code analysis and create bug fixes, releases and upgrades for applications.
  • Monitor and respond to open tickets submitted through an incident management system.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved.

Daily Tasks:

  • Work closely with client's processes (incident, problem, change management).
  • Communicate and work closely with users and the client.
  • Attend daily meetings with the team and occasional meetings with the client.
  • Analyze and document problems.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Improve and document technical processes around application support using Confluence.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers on change requests, managing issues and establishing priorities.
  • Handle late night and weekend emergency support as required.
  • Resolve system problems during non-business hours or backlogs.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in applications production support/application development environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of multiple systems and in-depth understanding of their functionality.
  • Primary Skills: COBOL/JCL, IBM WebSphere MQ.
  • Secondary Skills: DB2.
  • Language: German (Optional).
