Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

The Network Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our enterprise network. This involves hands-on management of Cisco Routing and Switching, Cisco ACI, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the network infrastructure, including setup and decommissioning of VLANs, troubleshooting end-user network-related issues, and coordinating with ISPs and TSPs for resolving tickets.
  • Configure and use network monitoring tools to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Work with OEMs to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Document processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 8 years of experience working as a network administrator in a medium to large-sized enterprise network environment. A CCNA certification is mandatory, while a CCNP certification is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with layer 2 devices, VLAN trunking, STP, Nexus Switches (2k, 5k, 7k, and 9k).
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills to effectively communicate with customers and teams.
