Job Overview

The Corporate HR Head will be responsible for leading the transformation and embedding of the organization's culture.

This is a high-profile role that requires strong leadership and inspirational behavior to champion the company's values.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic reports on all areas of HR, including Employment Law, policy, best practice, and workforce development.
  • Advise on the development of effective employment policies across the organization.
  • Lead professional development initiatives for HR staff to increase knowledge, share best practices, and meet relevant professional standards.
  • Evaluate compliance with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department, including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward, and Recognition.
  • Drive continuous improvement by focusing on engagement & welfare activities, maximizing productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers, and building leadership capability.
  • Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organizational culture, ensuring alignment with company values and approach.
  • Develop and execute a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with business strategy and commitments.
  • Regularly coach, mentor, and support senior and high-potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop effective relationships, and encourage retention.
  • Ensure managers are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access guidance and information to manage workforce issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience in HR roles.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen to create people strategies.
  • Ability to drive performance using metrics.
  • Proactive attitude and passion for leading with integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and positive, approachable manner.
  • A proactive and agile work ethic.
  • Curious mindset to think innovatively and rationally about concerns.
  • Experience managing a skilled team and making quick but rational decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Employment Law.
  • Thorough attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and use initiative.
  • First-rate communication and presentation skills.
