Process Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our process design efforts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing and optimizing column internals.

The successful candidate will have expertise in:

  • Designing and optimizing column internals to improve mass transfer and separation processes.
  • Conducting process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption and stripping applications.
  • Collaborating with mechanical and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.
  • Performing hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.
  • Providing technical support and customer consultations.
  • Evaluating and troubleshooting operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer or column internals manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS or ChemCAD.
  • Strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction and phase separation principles.
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics and pressure drop calculations.
  • Experience with technical drawings and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
