Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional Food & Beverage service to guests, meeting and exceeding their expectations.
  • Welcome guests with a warm and professional greeting, adhering to established standards.
  • Report any matters affecting the interests of Novotel Hyderabad Airport to Management.

People Management

  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address guest complaints, requests, or inquiries regarding food and services.
  • Foster seamless coordination and cooperation with all Novotel departments to ensure maximum productivity, morale, and guest service.

Operational Management

  • Set up operating equipment and inspect linen, condiments, and other essentials before service.
  • Stay familiar with all menu items.
  • Clear soiled chinaware, glassware, and silverware from guest tables and reset for the next arrival.
  • In the absence of the Food & Beverage Supervisor, take guest orders and advise on special menu options.
  • Familiarize yourself with property layout, fire exits, and elevator locations.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, emergencies, or suspicious persons to the Food & Beverage Supervisor.
  • Minimize breakage, pilferage, and spoilage.

Qualifications

  • Secondary/High school education or Hotel Management Degree.
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage an advantage.
  • Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages an advantage.
  • No experience required.
