Job Overview:

This is a challenging role that requires a highly skilled individual to oversee the installation of wind turbines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control, inspection, and validation of installation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate installation processes according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Conduct quality inspections of wind turbine generation (WTG) erection activities, identifying punch points and preparing reports.
  • Ensure timely handover and takeover of WTGs as per SOP with clients.
  • Close audit points and submit reports in a timely manner.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), corrective action and preventive action (CAPA), and implement changes.
  • Provide training to installation teams on SOPs and good practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of total experience, including 2-3 years in wind installation and quality engineering roles.

Work Environment:

  • The current work location is Gadag, Karnataka, with the possibility of working across India.
