Role: Lead Data Scientist

\

This challenging and rewarding role requires strong technical skills and business acumen.

\

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end initiatives, analyze and interpret findings, draw conclusions and recommendations, and support pre-sales activities.

\

Key duties include:

\
  • \
  • Running end-to-end initiatives (Business understanding, Data understanding/preparation, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment)\
  • Analyzing and interpreting the findings\
  • Drawing conclusions and recommendations- including expected benefits and measuring ROI for enhancing business processes\
  • Supporting Pre-sales activities and initiatives\
  • Providing expert advice to customers on data science and machine learning solutions\
  • Developing and implementing data-driven strategies to drive business growth\
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals\
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning\
  • Leading small technical teams on projects and providing guidance and mentorship\
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality\
  • Communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

\

Must Have:

\
  • \
  • Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts\
  • Experience with Machine Learning (ML), especially in the area of Generative AI (LLM/LMM) with focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) or multi-modal models.\
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plan, data processing, feature engineering, models evaluation, hypothesis testing and model deployment\
  • Fluency in Python, working knowledge of SQL and vector database\
  • Knowledge of specific DS/ML/CVGenAI/NLP libraries like: NumPy, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, and GenAI APIs i.e. OpenAI/Gemini.

  • Experience in working with big data and distributed environments would be a plus\
  • Commercial experience proven by multiple successful projects in the area of Generative AI, Natural Language Processing or Computer Vision would be a big plus

  • Good computer programming skills and familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts\
  • Expertise in Azure cloud resources, Databricks\
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization\
  • Strong business acumen\
  • Ability to come up with creative solutions to address customer problems\
