About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Cost Analyst who has deep expertise in cloud financial management, cost optimization practices, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment. You'll bring practitioner experience to help shape our product roadmap, validate real-world FinOps use cases, and consult on optimization practices across cloud environments.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in AWS cost management (multi-cloud experience is a strong plus), and with relevant certifications.

What You'll Do

  • Advise on cloud cost management strategies across AWS (mandatory), and optionally GCP & Azure.
  • Provide insights into common FinOps use cases such as showback/chargeback, forecasting, budget guardrails, anomaly detection, rightsizing, and workload optimization.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to map real-world challenges into product features.
  • Share expertise in cost allocation, tagging strategies, and governance frameworks.
  • Highlight gaps in current market tools and suggest opportunities for differentiation.
  • Guide adoption of FinOps best practices in alignment with the FinOps Foundation principles.

Requirements

We require:

  • 3–6+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Optimization, or Cloud Financial Management.
  • Strong practical expertise in AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, CloudWatch, Trusted Advisor, and Budgets.
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner / Advanced Practitioner certification is mandatory.
  • Proven experience implementing chargeback/showback models, forecasting, and cloud governance.
  • Solid technical understanding of cloud architecture and usage drivers (compute, storage, networking).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (Finance and Engineering).
