Job Title: Senior PHP Developer Leader

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior PHP Developer Leader to lead our team in delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of complex PHP applications using core PHP and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Mentor junior developers in PHP best practices, CodeIgniter framework, and version control using Git.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient MySQL databases.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for backend services, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components.
  • Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests to guarantee code reliability and prevent regression.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advocate for best engineering practices within the team.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of PHP 7.x and above, including its core features and extensions.
  • Expertise in CodeIgniter (CI 1 & 4) frameworks, including migration from CI 1 to CI 4.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (ES6+), with experience in integrating both languages with PHP.
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and management.
  • Version control experience with Git, including branching, merging, and collaborative development.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
