Piping Engineering Manager Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Piping Engineering Manager to lead our piping engineering department. As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for the design and engineering execution of the piping section across domestic and international FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detailed Engineering projects.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills to manage and develop in-house engineers, oversee subcontracted work, and ensure optimal layouts, material use, and integration of best HSE practices for Green Hydrogen plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations and short-term objectives of the piping department.
  • Develop and strengthen the piping department to meet business objectives.
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver piping engineering for projects.
  • Manage subcontracted engineering works as required.
  • Optimize layouts and materials to reduce CAPEX.
  • Integrate Best HSE Practices into piping design of Green Hydrogen plants.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 20 years of experience in EPC, oil & gas sector, ideally in hydrogen.
  • Good experience in SP3D, E3D/PDMS, Plant 3D software, and AutoCAD.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Master the office suite, especially Excel.
  • Good knowledge and experience in piping layout and process skid piping.
  • Good knowledge of OISD and local Indian regulations.
  • Good knowledge of ASME, DIN, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and other national and international codes.
About You:
  • Mechanical/Chemical Engineer with design and engineering experience in oil & gas / Energy / Green Hydrogen sectors.
  • Minimum experience of 15-20 years as HOD Piping or Lead Piping engineer with leading and reputed Engineering / EPC companies operating in oil & gas, energy, renewable energy sectors.
