Senior Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and efficient software architecture.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the product lifecycle, from conceptualization through development and deployment. They will be responsible for implementing Test-Driven Development practices to ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.

The role requires a strong programming foundation in Python, experience in developing web applications and APIs using Django or Flask, and considerable expertise in secure software development and handling of sensitive data.

The ideal candidate will also have well-established experience in all phases of development – requirement gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance, of enterprise-wide application systems.

In addition, they will have in-depth knowledge of Source Code Repository and experience working with Git, hands-on experience in DB design & Architecture with focus on performance, and knowledge of caching techniques and utilities like Memcache / Redis.

The role also requires experience working on Apache, Nginx, or any other web/app server, experience in containerization tool -Docker, and hands-on experience in enterprise level deployment and scaling.

  • Job Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:
