Job Title: PeopleSoft CRM Application Developer

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in designing, customizing, and optimizing PeopleSoft CRM solutions.

  • Design, develop, and customize PeopleSoft CRM modules (Tools 8+) to meet business requirements.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and performance-optimized PeopleCode and related application logic.
  • Implement Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces (CI), File Layouts, PS Query, and Integration Broker configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API & Integration:
    • Develop, integrate, and troubleshoot SOAP and REST-based APIs for system interoperability.
    • Configure and optimize Integration Broker for seamless data exchange with external systems.
  • Database & Reporting:
    • Work extensively with Oracle Database for SQL query optimization, stored procedures, and schema design.
    • Develop BI Publisher reports and analytics for operational and business needs.
  • Web Technologies & UI Enhancements:
    • Customize front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PeopleSoft Component/Page configurations.
    • Ensure UI responsiveness, usability, and alignment with design standards.
  • Agile Collaboration & Quality Assurance:
    • Participate in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning sessions.
    • Conduct and participate in design/code reviews to maintain high development standards.
    • Perform unit testing, regression testing, and provide post-deployment support.
  • Maintenance & Support:
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes.
    • Work with telemetry tools (e.g., Splunk) to analyze system logs and improve application reliability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft CRM development experience.
  • Strong expertise in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, File Layouts, PS Query, and Integration Broker.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Oracle Database query optimization.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end customization.
  • Practical knowledge of SOAP/REST API integration.
  • Exposure to telemetry/log analysis tools such as Splunk (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology and DevOps-oriented workflows.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for working in distributed, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-environment PeopleSoft upgrades, migrations, and patching.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for PeopleSoft deployments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based PeopleSoft hosting environments.
