Security Governance Specialist

 

As a Security Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for governing various access provisioning services provided by vendors for global applications and primary accounts. The operational presence of this team is in multiple locations while managing global operations 24x7.

The role involves governing different ID admin operations teams within Service Level Agreements (SLA) and desired quality aspects. You will also be responsible for improving and managing healthy business relationships with liaison with business teams, various support teams, and aligning service improvements accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance and quality aspects in line with policy and regulatory requirements

You should have good understanding of internal and external audits environment, good understanding of ID admin operations and or governance, respond to auditors and internal governance teams in time and verify provide evidences when needed, manage business escalations by taking end-to-end ownership, perform regular monitoring of SLA, quality, compliance parameters, and focus on continuous improvement following ITIL framework.

About the Role:

  • 2+ years of experience in Information Security and Governance
  • Experience working in access provisioning services, ID admin operations, and governance
  • Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to produce required reports when needed

As a Security Governance Specialist, you will work in a demanding and target-driven environment. Effective communication skills, ability to confidently handle internal clients, enter into discussions with senior management, futuristic, and innovative approach will be expected. Risk awareness and initiative are crucial. You should be a self-starter and initiate process improvement wherever necessary.
