
Cybersecurity Governance Specialist

As a Cybersecurity & Governance Risk Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping our organization protect its IT systems and assets from potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:- Risk Assessment and Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize IT-related risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure the integrity of our systems and data.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies, including GDPR, CCPA, ISO 270001, SOC2, and other applicable laws and guidelines.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Create and maintain IT governance policies and procedures that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
- Audit Management, tracking and Reporting: Conduct internal audits, document findings, and prepare reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and recommended solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security, and other business teams to implement and maintain effective GRC programs, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with evolving regulations, industry best practices, and emerging technologies, continuously evaluating and improving existing controls and processes.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and security technologies, including cybersecurity frameworks and threat management techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations to drive business decisions.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to compliance and risk, using critical thinking and creative problem-solving approaches.
- Certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP, or other relevant certifications can be beneficial, demonstrating expertise in cybersecurity and risk management.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, driving innovation and growth.
