Insurance Branch Leader

The Insurance Branch Leader will oversee and direct the agency sales team at the branch level, driving business objectives through recruitment, development, and retention of insurance advisors/agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Sales Strategy
  • Drive sales of life insurance products through the agency channel to achieve branch business targets.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop plans to maximize market share.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to enhance branch performance.
  1. Agency Recruitment & Growth
  • Recruit, train, and develop insurance advisors and leaders to build a strong and productive agency force.
  • Maintain regular skill enhancement and certification of agents as per IRDAI guidelines.
  • Conduct motivation and retention programs for advisors to minimize attrition.
  1. Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, guide, and mentor the branch sales team (Agency Development Managers / Unit Managers).
  • Evaluate performance management, productivity tracking, and capability building of the sales team.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the branch.
  1. Operations & Compliance Oversight
  • Evaluate adherence to IRDAI regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure high levels of persistency and quality of business.
  • Supervise smooth branch operations and effective coordination with support functions.
  1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Promote a customer-centric culture within the branch.
  • Ensure excellent service delivery and grievance redressal for policyholders and agents.
  • Nurture strong relationships with agents and key customers to drive loyalty and referrals.
