Senior Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to facilitate the successful delivery of consulting engagements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce and experience working with SAP Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud.

The selected candidate will work closely with client stakeholders and business users, as well as cross-functional delivery teams, to gather and document solution requirements, design solutions, model and configure e-commerce data structures and business processes, collect and load product data, define test scripts and acceptance criteria, manage requirement changes and communicate them effectively to all stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one or small group interview sessions to gather required use cases, functional requirements, and technical requirements for developing requirement documentation.
  • Provide analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and documenting e-commerce system requirements and procedures that meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and business users on Omni-channel-specific business topics such as product catalog modeling, inventory management, customer service, b2b customer management, b2b procurement, demand generation, promotion strategy, and more.
  • Develop user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, data models, and process flow diagrams to communicate engagement scope to clients and delivery team members.
  • Work towards completing assigned tasks within specified timelines and communicate status if task delivery dates are at risk.
  • Collaborate with other project delivery team members to resolve business or systems issues.
  • Collect and manipulate e-commerce data structures, identify data gaps, and perform product data imports into the e-commerce system (project-dependent).
  • Provide system demonstrations and training to client business users.
  • Develop test plans, write manual/automated test scripts, and define acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality project deliverables (project-dependent).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of general IT business analysis experience from the E-commerce domain.
  • Experience implementing Hybris Commerce (2-3 years minimum).
  • A thorough understanding of SAP Hybris Application Lifecycle Framework.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with global service delivery models.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
