The Service Captain is the face of the restaurant, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Management: Welcome guests upon arrival, ensure they are comfortably seated, and provide them with menus or recommend specials.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the service team during shifts, assign tables and responsibilities to servers, and conduct pre-service briefings.
  • Operations Oversight: Ensure proper setup of tables, oversee table settings, cleanliness, and general upkeep of the restaurant.
  • Training and Development: Assist in onboarding and training new staff in service procedures, etiquette, menu knowledge, and safety standards.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Promote daily specials, signature dishes, or seasonal offers to enhance guest experience and boost revenue.
  • Hygiene, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, regularly inspect dining areas, and maintain daily logs and incident reports.
  • Inventory and Stock Management: Monitor usage of cutlery, crockery, linens, and other service items, and assist in monthly inventory counts and reporting.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 06 Months to 3+ year experience as a Service Captain, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
