Job Description

The Global Program Management Office Analyst plays a vital role in our organization, working closely with the senior leadership team to understand their requirements for measuring the Global Project Portfolio's progress and success.

This involves determining the type, frequency, and method of data collection, facilitating the collection of project data, and collecting data about data quality and timeliness. The Global PMO Analyst also escalates issues where necessary, determines the analytical process to transform the data into useful management information, and presents this information back to the leadership team to track business performance and guide decision-making.

The Global PMO facilitates and reports adherence to the Governance processes, ensuring robust financial management and control are in place for our project processes.

The successful candidate will need to work and communicate effectively with people across all global locations and at all levels of the organization, including senior executives.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Running regular data analysis reports to schedule;
  • Setting up projects and releases in our reporting systems;
  • Supporting those systems and providing cover during absences for other team members;
  • Bulk uploads of data into Jira, e.g., client tests;
  • Support and issue resolution in Smartsheet, Jira, and Hub Planner;
  • Running scheduled reports and analysis processes, distributing to appropriate audiences, including productivity analysis, financial reporting, compliance reporting, and project metric analysis;
  • Maintaining the company resource plan, ensuring resource supply and demand data aligns with HR staff numbers, takes into account project allocations, and future requirements;
  • Providing management information to other teams per the reporting timetable, e.g., Finance, HR, and the SLT.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a project management or associated role;
  • Experience working with Jira for reporting, tracking, and portfolio management purposes, with experience using Tempo a plus;
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or others;
  • Strong analytical skills to gather, interpret, and present data on portfolio performance, risks, and benefits;
  • Proven ability to build successful working relationships across multiple locations and team disciplines;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
