As a Technical Program Manager, you will drive cross-functional initiatives and lead programs from initiation to successful delivery. You will be responsible for understanding business objectives, initiating various programs, measuring progress, risk management, and ensuring timely delivery.Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Initiate programs, manage scope, timelines, and resources to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess strong grasp of technical concepts, enabling effective engagement with engineering teams. Understand High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Facilitate collaboration and alignment between cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of communication and understanding.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential technical risks that could impact program success. Develop contingency plans and ensure program resilience.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Track key program metrics, create dashboards, and generate reports to monitor progress and measure success.
  • Process Improvement & Quarterly Planning:
    • Own and manage the end-to-end quarterly planning cycle.
    • Coordinate with Product to gather concept notes or PRDs.
    • Work with Design to obtain wireframes or sketches.
    • Collaborate with Engineering to conduct grooming sessions and finalize feature lists.
    • Lead communication and alignment across stakeholders.
    • Run bi-weekly tracking and check-ins to monitor progress against the plan.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of industry experience in program management.
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly and learn new technologies.
  • High attention to detail by prioritizing multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Ability to understand cross-functional dependencies and drive towards technical solutions.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on technical programs.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
