Academic Program Manager

The Academic Program Manager plays a pivotal role in driving academic excellence by fostering collaboration across departments, enhancing programs, and ensuring that academic goals and standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with faculty to design and refine curricula, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives and standards.
  • Student Support Services: Offer guidance on academic advising, course selection, program requirements, and academic policies.
  • Faculty Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between faculty and administration, assist with orientation, training, and scheduling, and provide ongoing support in curriculum delivery.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on academic performance data. Identify trends and suggest improvements based on insights.
  • Business Growth Initiatives: Identify opportunities for program expansion, partnerships, and strategies to enhance the institution's presence.
  • Accreditation and Compliance: Ensure academic programs comply with accreditation standards, institutional policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Coordinate class schedules to meet demand and availability.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with students, faculty, and staff regarding updates, schedule changes, and relevant information.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on activities, performance, and trends for senior management or accreditation bodies.
  • Event Management: Organize events such as workshops, conferences, or student orientations.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve academic concerns or conflicts, ensuring a positive environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience in academic program management or coordination.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Curriculum development and student support experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes and academic compliance standards is advantageous.
