Job Overview:

The Controls Testing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive testing methodology for critical key controls across the organization. This role will focus on assurance activities over resiliency material and critical controls testing, with opportunities to expand into other operational risk domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of testing plans and execute control tests, coordinating reviews with stakeholders, managing test analyst activities, and ensuring quality alignment with testing methodologies.
  • Prepare draft reports reflecting test results and advise on remediation activities, engaging 2LOD and subject matter experts in agreeing action plans.
  • Present results to senior management to secure buy-in and agreement on actions.
  • Coordinate activities throughout the review lifecycle with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics teams to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into analytics-based testing and continuous assurance.
  • Support issue remediation and validation of evidence before issue closure.
  • Provide feedback to design and implementation teams on learnings identified during control testing.
