Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to own and scale our Application and Cloud Security programs.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct security assessments across the application stack, including threat modeling, code reviews, dynamic scanning, and penetration testing.
  • Develop and maintain secure software development life cycle (SDLC) practices, incorporating security checks into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Promote secure design patterns among teams, focusing on authentication, input validation, access control, session management, and secure data storage.
  • Continuously monitor and remediate vulnerabilities in source code and dependencies, utilizing static analysis security testing (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST), and software composition analysis (SCA).
Cloud and Infrastructure Security:
  • Design and implement secure configurations for AWS environments, encompassing networking, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and logging.
  • Implement and manage cloud-native security services like GuardDuty, Inspector, and Security Hub.
  • Establish and enforce infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security controls using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or policy-as-code frameworks.
Security Architecture and Best Practices:
  • Foster a shift-left approach to security by collaborating with developers early in the SDLC and providing actionable feedback during design, build, and review phases.
  • Collaborate with product managers and infrastructure leads to ensure security is integrated into architectural decisions, particularly for high-risk features or regulated workflows.
Governance, Risk, and Compliance:
  • Support compliance initiatives by developing and documenting enforceable security controls.
  • Work with auditors and risk teams to demonstrate maturity of security processes and ongoing improvements.
