Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist - Network Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity specialist to join our team as a network engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting secure and efficient enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Security: Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Firewalls (physical and virtual appliances), ensuring compliance with security policies.
  • Palo Alto Management: Manage and monitor Palo Alto Firewalls, including security policies, threat prevention, and URL filtering.
  • Firewall Optimization: Maintain and optimize firewall rulesets to ensure both security and network performance.
  • Panorama Administration: Maintain and manage Panorama for centralized firewall administration.
  • Troubleshooting: Monitor logs and alerts, investigate incidents, and troubleshoot firewall-related issues.
  • Infrastructure Management: Plan and execute firmware upgrades, high-availability (HA) setups, and DR testing.
  • Switching Infrastructure: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise switching infrastructure (Cisco Catalyst 2700/3000/4000/9000 series).
  • VLANs and Routing: Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, QoS, ACLs, and handle advanced L3 routing on switches (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
  • Network Design: Perform network segmentation, redundancy, and high-availability design.
  • Technical Support: Support escalations and root cause analysis for complex network issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience: In enterprise network on 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network security and managing team.
  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
