Tech Support Specialist for Web and Mobile Apps

Job Overview

As a Technical Support Engineer for our web and mobile application, you will play a key role in ensuring the high-quality user experience of our customers. You will work closely with the Client Success team to provide tier-2 client support for software technical issues and collaborate with the Engineering department to debug and resolve problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to internal and external users, including customer service teams and clients.
  • Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team.
  • Assist the QA lead with quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.
  • Interact with internal and external customers to quickly identify the root cause of their problem.
  • Propose workarounds to customers when a fix is not available immediately.
  • Provide timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Support the rollout of new applications.
  • Develop procedural documentation for support purposes.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Evaluate and test new releases.
  • Offer innovative ideas and solutions for efficient operational processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Ability to work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm central time).
  • Experience with technical support for web-based business applications and mobile interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, and AWS.
  • Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Knowledge of ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, and Trello.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
