**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- **Test Automation**: Develop, implement, and maintain test automation scripts using tools like Appium, Selenium, or other test frameworks.
- **Bug Reporting & Tracking**: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools like Jira.
- **Test Case Design**: Create and execute test cases for functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- **Test Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with developers to understand requirements and resolve issues found during testing.
- **Performance Testing**: Conduct performance testing to ensure that mobile apps function under different loads and network conditions.
- **Cross-Platform Testing**: Ensure compatibility and functionality of apps across various mobile devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.

**Technical Skills Required**:
**Core Mobile Testing Skills**:

- **Test Automation**: Experience in developing test automation scripts for mobile apps using tools like Appium, Selenium, or similar.
- **Mobile Testing Tools**: Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or Espresso for Android testing.
- **Android**: Understanding of Android SDK, emulator setup, and the Android app testing lifecycle.
- **iOS**: Familiarity with Xcode and iOS-specific testing tools for testing apps on iOS devices.
- **Cross-Browser/Device Testing**:Knowledge of tools like Browser Stack or Sauce Labs for testing across multiple mobile devices and operating systems.
- **Bug Tracking**: Experience in using Jira, Bugzilla, or similar bug tracking tools to document and manage issues.
- **Performance Testing**: Understanding of tools like Apache JMeter or LoadRunner for performance testing of mobile apps.

**Programming and Scripting Skills**:

- **Java**: Strong knowledge of Java for writing automation scripts and developing testing frameworks.
- **Scripting Languages**: Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to enhance automation tasks.

**Frontend and UI Testing (Optional)**:

- **HTML/CSS**: Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for testing mobile app web components.
- **JavaScript**: Experience with JavaScript for UI testing and validation of web views inside mobile apps.
- **React Native / Flutter**:Familiarity with testing mobile apps developed with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter is a plus.
