Job Description Job Title: Mobile Automation Tester (Appium iOS & Android) Location: Bangalore Experience: 9 years Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile Automation Tester with extensive experience in Appium for both iOS and Android platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for mobile applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. The role involves collaboration with QA, development, and product teams to maintain robust testing processes and continuous integration practices. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for iOS and Android applications. - Execute functional, regression, and performance testing on mobile applications. - Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools. - Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or other tools. - Participate in requirement analysis and provide input on testability of mobile features. - Stay updated on mobile testing best practices, frameworks, and emerging tools. Required Skills - Strong hands-on experience with Appium for both iOS and Android automation. - Proficiency in mobile automation frameworks and tools (TestNG, JUnit, Espresso, XCUITest). - Programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development. - Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - Knowledge of mobile platforms, device emulators, real devices, and OS versions. - Familiarity with API testing using Postman or REST-assured. - Experience with performance testing tools (optional: JMeter, LoadRunner). - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle. Good To Have - Experience in cloud-based mobile device labs (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). - Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Gherkin. - Knowledge of security and accessibility testing for mobile apps.
