Job Description:

As a seasoned project manager, you will oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of a critical compliance initiative for a leading financial institution in Bermuda.

The individual will be responsible for ensuring alignment with data protection regulations modeled closely on the European Union's GDPR framework.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data privacy strategy across all business units.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of current policies, systems, and processes to identify gaps against regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and implement appropriate controls for data collection, storage, access, and sharing.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party assessments related to data processing and privacy.
  • Design and facilitate training programs for staff on data protection principles and responsibilities.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills are essential for success in this role.
