Job Title

Accounting AI Transformation Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team in driving finance transformation through the use of Artificial Intelligence.

Job Description
  • Lead Delivery: Manage accounting outputs prepared by junior accountants and AI systems, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Specialize in Revenue & Close: Provide expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, deferred revenue, reconciliations, and period close workflows.
  • Scope Client Work: Partner with delivery managers to define client requirements and translate them into structured workflows.
  • Design Scalable Processes: Establish best practices for close, reconciliations, and reporting that can be automated by our AI platform.
  • Collaborate with Product: Provide domain expertise to engineers and product managers, ensuring automation matches accounting realities.
  • Quality & Compliance: Build controls, checkpoints, and documentation to ensure audit-ready outputs for clients.
  • Mentor Juniors: Guide freshers and associates, helping them develop both technical and client-facing skills.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant: CA with 3–5 years post-qualification experience, ideally Big4 or top-tier accounting background.
  • Strong Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience in revenue recognition, reconciliations, and financial close.
  • Supervision Experience: Experience supervising teams and reviewing deliverables.
  • ERP/accounting Systems: Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical, detail-oriented, and excited to explore AI in finance transformation.
