Transformation Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Transformation Developer to join our team and drive the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional with a strong background in ETL tools, relational databases, and cloud-native technologies.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in ETL tooling, including IBM DataStage, and a solid understanding of relational database management systems.

They will also possess knowledge of public cloud platforms, real-time streaming tools, and fourth-generation programming languages like Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-level designs for data transformation
  • Create efficient ETL pipelines using ETL tools
  • Design and develop stored procedures to support data ingestion
  • Write optimized queries to ingest large volumes of data into relational databases
  • Develop external code using 4GL programming languages, including Linux shell scripts
  • Support migration from on-premise to cloud-native ETL solutions

Required Qualifications:
  • Computer Science or Engineering Degree
  • 5+ years' experience as a Transformation Developer
  • 5+ years' experience working with relational databases
  • 3+ years' experience working with high-volume data ingestion
  • 3+ years' experience working with cloud-native databases and ETL solutions
  • Exposure to fourth-generation programming languages like Python
  • Candidate should be able to work individually and as part of an agile team
