Job Title: Insurance Risk Specialist

This role involves assessing and managing risk factors associated with businesses.

  • Analyze various risk indicators to determine potential exposure.
  • Customize insurance policies by selecting appropriate coverage options.
  • Collaborate with underwriters at multiple insurance companies to obtain quotes and underwriting decisions.
  • Ensure timely completion of approvals, reinsurance support, and final underwriting clearance.
  • Verify all necessary documents from clients (KYC, proposal forms, declarations, etc.).
  • Stay informed about underwriting guidelines, product circulars, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate complex underwriting concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support the sales team by providing guidance on underwriting matters.
  • Address client inquiries related to risk approvals or policy issuance delays.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong understanding of insurance products and services. A degree in a relevant field and experience in underwriting or a related field are essential for this position.
