About the Role:

This senior-level position plays a critical role in enhancing our company's vision of transforming India into a hub for high-tech design and manufacturing. The Merger and Acquisition Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities that drive business growth.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
  • Identify potential M&A and strategic partnership opportunities aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Conduct detailed financial modelling and valuation analysis.
  • Perform financial forecasting, business case development, and scenario analysis to assess financial and operational risks associated with the transaction.
  • Manage due diligence processes, working closely with internal teams, external advisors, and investment banks.
  • Create presentations for internal review and senior leadership.
  • Lead drafting of all transaction documents as well as closing procedures.
  • Assist in post-merger integration, ensuring synergies and operational alignment.
Strategy & Corporate Development:
  • Develop and refine business segment-wise strategy, assessing industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities. Lead creation of strategic plan documents for the business.
  • Support senior leadership in defining long-term business objectives and investment plans.
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking.
  • Prepare strategic plan and annual operating plan presentations and reports for executive leadership.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to drive business expansion.
  • Monitor post-investment performance and strategic alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead program management for key corporate initiatives, ensuring completion and achievement of milestones.
Requirements:
  • MBA (Finance) from a Tier 1 institute or CA.
  • Minimum CFA Level 2 (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in M&A/Strategy roles.
  • Understanding of M&A processes, documentation, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with financial dataset tools (Bloomberg/Capital IQ).
  • High attention to detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
