The role involves identifying and partnering with suppliers, artisans, and small manufacturers to meet procurement needs.

Evaluating vendors based on quality, pricing, and reliability is crucial. Building strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts are essential skills for this position.

  • Sourcing & Onboarding:
    • Identify and engage potential suppliers.
    • Evaluate vendors for quality, pricing, and reliability.
  • Catalogue Management:
    • Collect product details, images, and specifications from vendors.
    • Maintain and update supplier database and product catalogue.
  • Coordination & Administration:
    • Act as a liaison between suppliers and the procurement team.
    • Negotiate terms including margins, MOQs (minimum order quantities), and payment terms.

This candidate should be based in Bangalore or nearby, have knowledge of local markets, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented individuals who can effectively follow up with vendors are preferred.
