Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Custom Circuit Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the SLM Monitors group, you will play a crucial role in building next-generation intelligent in-chip sensors and analytics.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in custom design methodologies, including specification, circuit design description, and schematics. Proficiency with circuit design and simulation tools, IC design CAD packages from any EDA vendor, and a sound understanding of SPICE simulator concepts and simulation methods is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and productize state-of-the-art circuit components for SLM monitors realized through ASIC design flow
  • Design on-chip Process, Voltage, Temperature, glitch, and Droop monitors for monitoring silicon biometrics
  • Develop statistical simulation methodologies and collaborate with the layout team to achieve optimal design solutions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong custom design experience, including specification, circuit design description, and schematics
  • Proficiency with circuit design and simulation tools, IC design CAD packages from any EDA vendor
  • Solid understanding of SPICE simulator concepts and simulation methods
  • Experience with statistical design methodologies like generating and analyzing Monte-Carlo results
