Job Title: Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant

As a seasoned financial professional, you will play a pivotal role in transforming finance functions for our client based in Dubai.

This contract position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and support Oracle Fusion Financials modules across multiple entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying problems and opportunities within the organization and providing solutions to achieve business goals during the transformation phase.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
  • Conducting detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for finance functions. Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.
  • Collecting and analyzing business requirements for Fusion Financials Implementation projects.
  • Writing business requirement documents and other functional and technical documentations.
  • Assisting in design, development, testing, and implementation of the fusion solution.
  • Integrating Oracle Fusion Financials with third-party applications e.g., banking systems, procurement systems, etc.
  • Providing suggestions to enhance/automate ERP applications for optimal financial performance.
  • Identifying functional gaps and providing corrective actions. Ensuring that project deliverables meet customer specifications.
  • Providing technical expertise in building financial reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Resolving technical and operational problems in a timely fashion. Responding to stakeholder queries and concerns promptly.
  • Developing testing scenarios and writing test scripts. Working with documentation teams to develop user guides and training materials.
  • Developing functional models, conducting bench-marking, and process analysis. Driving process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the finance function.
  • Providing assistance in Data cleansing, transformation & data mapping activities corresponding to the migration phase of the projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in business/information analysis with a focus on Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Must have worked on Oracle SAAS & PAAS applications and have strong integration experience.
  • Minimum of 2 End-to-End Oracle Fusion Implementation experience.
  • Oracle Fusion Financials Certification is preferable.
  • Proven working experience as a Financials Business Analyst, proficient in Oracle Fusion Financials modules & spreadsheets.
  • Experience working within a project-centric industry, such as construction, is a bonus.
  • Oracle EBS implementation experience is a bonus.
