Financial Modelling Manager

As a key member of the finance team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing financial models that inform strategic decisions. With a strong background in finance and accounting, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and interpreting complex financial models used by senior management to drive business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive financial models: Use industry-standard tools and techniques to create accurate and reliable financial models that meet the needs of senior management and stakeholders.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with development, project financing, finance, EPC and other teams to gather data, coordinate inputs and ensure alignment on financial models.
  3. Analyse and interpret financial data: Use advanced analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  4. Train and supervise junior modelers: Mentor and train junior financial modelers to develop their skills and expertise.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Business, finance or accounting degree: A recognized university degree in business, finance or accounting is essential.
  • 10+ years experience in financial modelling: Proven experience in building, developing and running complex financial models is crucial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to interpret complex financial data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
