Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Quality Assurance team.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software development and testing processes and a keen interest in ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in writing and executing test cases based on project requirements.
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and usability issues.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Document test results and log defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings as part of the Agile process.
  • Learn and implement basic automation using tools like Selenium (optional).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
  • Understanding of different types of testing-functional, regression, smoke, etc.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the QA domain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Exposure to programming/scripting languages is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of automation tools like Selenium is a bonus.
  • Any relevant certifications will be considered a plus.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for quality assurance and a desire to continuously learn and grow in the field.
