Job Overview:

Critical network infrastructure deployment and management is at the heart of this position.

A Network Engineer will work closely with various stakeholders to plan, implement, and maintain client-facing network solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy LAN infrastructure for optimal end-user services
  • Patching schedules for facilities to cable network equipment
  • Diagrams for Network Operations
  • Inventory management
Implementation Planning:
  • Create high-level implementation plans for RFC's
  • Document pre and post checks for change verification purposes
  • Understand and document back-out plans
  • Identify points of no return
Change Management:
  • Support service stability and uptime by planning changes with a best approach mindset
  • Identify zero-downtime changes for hosted services
  • Plan and implement changes with cost-effective resource strategies
Documentation:
  • Document network estate for Operation Support and change planning
  • Maintain infrastructure database
  • Complete network diagrams to a high standard
Peer Review:
  • Peer review and validation of technical deployment plans
  • Provide constructive feedback to peers for change control and quality

Required skills include strong Cisco Routing & Switching, Exchange ULL COLO network setup, and CCNP/CCIE certification. Experience working in an Ultra Low Latency environment and Financial Services is also necessary. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently is essential.
